Autism is a life-long developmental disability.
Individuals cannot
properly understand what they see, hear and sense. When the reality
annoys them, they have attacks and start crying, screaming and become
aggressive.
The cause of autism is still unknown.
This
disorder may be caused by some imbalance in certain chemicals in the brain. It is a disability which makes it hard to communicate
to the outside world. There is no cure for autism, but it is treatable.
Specially trained teachers can help affected people to live at home and in
the community.
